Transform Your Smile Without Drilling or Removing Tooth Structure.
Prepless cosmetic veneers are one of the most conservative ways to enhance your smile. These ultra-thin porcelain shells are bonded to the front surface of your teeth to improve color, shape, alignment, and overall appearance—often without drilling or removing natural tooth structure.
At EZ Dental Studio, prepless veneers allow patients to achieve a dramatic smile transformation while preserving their natural teeth.
Every smile is designed individually here in Wexford, PA — planned around your face, your bite, and the way you want to look when you laugh, not around a one-size-fits-all template.
Cosmetic Dentistry at EZ Dental Studio
Cosmetic dentistry is about more than whiter teeth. It is the art of balancing color, shape, length, and proportion so your smile looks natural for your face. Sometimes that means a full smile design with veneers. Just as often, it means one small correction that makes everything else fall into place.
During your consultation we look at the whole picture — the health of your teeth and gums first, then the aesthetics — and recommend the most conservative treatment that will actually get you the result you want.
Porcelain Veneers
Ultra-thin, custom-made porcelain shells bonded to the front of your teeth. Prepless veneers require little or no reduction of natural tooth structure, making them the most conservative option for reshaping and brightening a smile.
Teeth Whitening
Professional whitening lifts years of staining from coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco — safely, and far more predictably than over-the-counter strips. Whitening is often the first step before any other cosmetic work, so the final shade is built around your brightest natural teeth.
Tooth-Colored Fillings
Old silver amalgam fillings can darken a smile and, over time, stress the tooth around them. Replacing them with tooth-colored composite or porcelain restores a natural appearance and reinforces the tooth.
What Can Prepless Veneers Fix?
Prepless veneers can correct a variety of cosmetic concerns, including:
- Discolored or stained teeth
- Small or worn teeth
- Gaps between teeth
- Minor misalignment
- Irregular tooth shape
- Uneven smiles
They are especially effective for teeth that resist whitening — deep intrinsic staining, tetracycline discoloration, or enamel that has simply thinned and yellowed with age.
What Is The Treatment Process
Creating your new smile typically involves:
- Smile consultation and digital evaluation
- Custom smile design to determine ideal tooth shape and proportions
- Precise fabrication of porcelain veneers by a high-end dental laboratory
- Bonding the veneers to the teeth for a seamless, natural look
The result is a beautiful, balanced smile designed specifically for your facial features.
Most cases are completed in two to three visits over a few weeks. Because prepless veneers remove little or no enamel, many patients need no anesthetic and no temporaries between appointments.

Comfortable From Start to Finish
Cosmetic appointments are among the easiest visits in dentistry — prepless veneers in particular usually require no drilling and no numbing at all. But if dental anxiety is what has kept you from fixing your smile in the first place, we can take that off the table entirely.
EZ Dental Studio offers oral sedation and nitrous oxide so you can complete treatment feeling calm and relaxed. Learn more about sedation dentistry.

Cosmetic Dentistry: Common Questions
Do prepless veneers damage my natural teeth?
No. That is the entire point of the prepless technique. Because little or no enamel is removed, your natural tooth structure stays intact underneath the porcelain.
Will my veneers look fake?
Not when they are designed and layered properly. Natural teeth are not uniformly white — they have translucency at the edges, subtle variation in shade, and slight differences in length. Those details are built into your veneers so the result reads as a great smile rather than as dental work.
How many veneers will I need?
It depends on how far your smile shows when you talk and laugh. Many patients treat the six to ten upper front teeth. Some need only two to correct a specific concern. We determine this together during your smile design.
Is the procedure painful?
Most prepless cases require no anesthetic at all. Patients typically describe the appointments as easy, and there is no recovery period afterward.
Should I whiten my teeth first?
Usually, yes. Porcelain does not respond to whitening agents, so we whiten your natural teeth first and then match the veneers to that brighter shade. This also keeps neighboring untreated teeth in harmony with the new ones.
Do veneers stain?
Porcelain is highly stain-resistant — far more so than natural enamel or composite bonding. Coffee, tea, and red wine will not discolor the veneers themselves, though good hygiene still matters for the gum line and the teeth around them.
Can veneers straighten crooked teeth?
They can visually correct minor rotations, small gaps, and uneven edges. For significant crowding or bite problems, orthodontics first will give you a healthier and more conservative result, and we will tell you if that is the better path.
What happens if a veneer chips or comes off?
Individual veneers can be re-bonded or replaced without redoing the entire smile. Chips are uncommon, and most are traced back to grinding or biting something hard.
Does dental insurance cover cosmetic treatment?
Purely cosmetic procedures are generally not covered by dental insurance. When a tooth is also cracked, worn, or decayed, part of the treatment may qualify. Our team will review your specific benefits with you before you commit to anything.
How much do veneers cost?
Cost depends on how many teeth are treated and what condition they are in, so it is not something we can quote honestly over the phone. You will receive a written treatment plan with exact figures after your consultation — before any work begins.
